Warehouse Assistant
Description:
The Warehouse Assistant will report to the Production Manager. This role will be focused on performing warehouse tasks as assigned by the lead worker and/or supervisor in a timely and efficient manner. These tasks include but are not limited to:- Data entry
- Quality assurance
- Email, phone, and text communications to customers, vendors, and carriers.
- Placing orders with vendors
- Monitoring the status of orders and shipments
- Preparing printing and shipping documents
- Using industrial printers to ink addresses on printed advertising materials
- Using conveyor to transport printed advertising materials to packing area
- Bundling and packing stacks of inked advertising materials to prepare them for shipment
- Picking, packing and shipping stocked products from warehouse
- Booking shipments and post office appointments
- Purchasing postage for shipments and documenting postage costs
- Clearing shipments and shipment paperwork at post office
- Delivering small shipments using the company van
- Prepping and labeling shipments to be picked up
- Staging shipments using electric stacker and/or pallet jack
- Loading shipments into the 3PL truck using electric stacker and/or pallet jack
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Using electric stacker to store materials and shipments on industrial shelving and retrieving them when necessary
- Generating and testing QR codes for print orders
- Ordering and picking up supplies
- Other related tasks as determined by your lead or supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Aptitude for strategic planning
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Proactive communication skills
- Mental flexibility
- Ability to continue working until the day's work is finished, even if the shift is longer than expected
- Leadership skills
- Aptitude for teaching/training
- Technically savvy
- Ability to use hand tools to assemble and dismantle hardware and machinery
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time wisely
- Ability to drive cargo van and operate heavy machinery safely
- Ability to work on a team
- Aptitude for learning new skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of industrial printers
- Higher education or coursework in logistics or supply chain or a related field
- Knowledge of postal operations
- Office experience
- Warehouse experience
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Compensation:
$19 - $21 per hour, depending on experience.
Up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday schedule plus:
Generous paid leave bank
401(k) plan with employer contribution match up to 4% of your gross income.

Hourly, non-exempt employment classification. This position has the option to reduce hours during seasonal slowdowns to as low as 10 hours per week without impacting qualification for full-time benefits. This role has potential opportunities for advancement within the company.
