SermonView Mourns the Passing of Longtime Campaign Manager Todd Farrell
(Vancouver, Wash.) — SermonView is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Todd Farrell, a beloved member of our team and dedicated campaign manager since 2017. Todd fell asleep in Jesus on August 14, 2025, just days after celebrating his 50th birthday. Over the past eight years, he worked with over 1,000 churches, helping them connect with their communities and share the gospel through effective evangelism marketing.

“Todd worked tirelessly to help churches reach their communities for Christ,” said Larry Witzel, founder and president of SermonView. “He wasn’t just committed to the mechanics of marketing; he cared deeply about helping churches be more effective in their mission. His passion, skill, and dedication will be profoundly missed.”
During his time at SermonView, Todd managed campaigns for several notable evangelistic initiatives, including Pale Horse Rides, The Appearing, and Final Empire with Shawn Boonstra from the Voice of Prophecy; Revelation Today: The Great Reset with John Bradshaw from It Is Written; Indestructible You with Roy Ice from Faith for Today; and Forecasting Hope with David Klinedinst from the Chesapeake Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He also managed the marketing for hundreds of individual evangelistic campaigns by local churches throughout North America.
“Todd was a part of some of the largest evangelistic efforts in our day,” said Wes Peppers, evangelism director for It Is Written. “He was a crucial part of building God’s kingdom, and it was something that he believed in with all his heart. What God did through him will echo in eternity.”
“Todd was amazing at juggling dozens of simultaneous campaigns,” said Lori Ball, SermonView’s director of marketing and sales. “His attention to detail was exceptional, and we always knew every church he served would receive his full focus. But beyond his professional excellence, Todd was an incredible person, and he will be deeply missed.”
Before joining SermonView, Todd explored a variety of careers, including warehouse logistics for Design Sound NW, estimator and electrical apprentice for Frontier Electric, mortgage loan officer, and operations service management at FedEx Ground. According to his brother, Brandon Farrell, Todd found a meaningful career when he joined SermonView. “This was the first job where he felt he was making a difference,” Brandon said. “It was a blessing to him, and I know he was able to bless others through his work there.”
“Todd was on point when it came to accomplishing our mission,” said Byron Corbett, Director for English Evangelism and Sabbath School at the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and a long-time client of Todd’s. “Whenever I wanted to experiment with a new evangelism idea, I could be confident Todd would hone it to be effective at reaching the community. He had an amazing servant’s heart, and I will greatly miss him.”
Beyond his work, Todd’s roots ran deep in the Pacific Northwest. He spent his childhood in Salem before moving to Southwest Washington. He graduated from Columbia Adventist Academy in 1994, followed by studies at Clark College and Walla Walla University. A long-time member of the Meadow Glade Seventh-day Adventist Church, Todd served regularly in worship music, playing bass and singing for a period spanning over a decade. After moving to Arizona in 2022, he joined the Camelback Seventh-day Adventist Church and quickly became involved in worship ministry there.
Todd adored Danielle, his wife of 14 years. The two became acquainted during music classes and trips at Columbia Adventist Academy, later reconnecting after previous marriages to raise their blended family together. Todd is survived by his wife, three of his four parents, five children, five grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters, and countless ministry colleagues and friends.
“Todd was someone we all loved to work and interact with,” said John Bradshaw, speaker-director of It Is Written. “He will leave a big gap in so many lives. We’re grateful we can look forward to seeing him again.”
A memorial service is planned for Sabbath afternoon, September 27, 2025 at the Meadow Glade Seventh-day Adventist Church in Battle Ground, WA. Additional details will be shared when available.
